The M5Stack Unit Fingerprint 2 A-K323CP is a compact fingerprint recognition module designed for biometric security applications. The module integrates an STM32 core controller with an all-in-one fingerprint recognition module of type A-K323CP. The built-in semiconductor-based capacitive sensor enables functions such as capturing, feature extraction, registration, comparison, storage, and retrieval of fingerprints. Thanks to an integrated recognition algorithm library, the system can adapt to both dry and wet fingers, with matching and search functions being fast and precise. A UART interface ensures easy integration into various microcontroller platforms. For user guidance, the unit features a seven-color RGB LED ring and an operation LED that indicate the working status. The fingerprint management supports 100 entries and provides a data storage of 7262 bytes per entry. Typical applications include smart door locks, access and time attendance systems, authentication in vending machines, and small security solutions.
