M5Stack Unit CAT-M/NB-IoT SIM7080G cellular module

The M5Stack Unit CatM is an international dual-mode cellular module for IoT applications, supporting both CAT-M and NB-IoT. The module is based on the SIM7080G chip and covers most CAT-M and NB-IoT frequency bands worldwide. Communication is carried out via a serial UART interface with AT command control at a baud rate of 115200. The module supports numerous protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, TLS, DTLS, MQTT, CoAP, and LWM2M. The data transfer rates reach up to 1119 kbps in uplink and 589 kbps in downlink in CAT-M mode, while NB-IoT achieves 150 kbps in uplink and 136 kbps in downlink. An external SMA antenna improves signal quality and communication stability. The nano-SIM card slot enables the use of various mobile network operators. The module is ideal for applications such as remote control, remote monitoring, telemedicine, and other IoT scenarios where no WiFi connection is available. Development is carried out via Arduino or UIFlow. The module has numerous international certifications for global use.
