M5Stack RollerCAN Unit with BLDC Motor
With the M5Stack RollerCAN Unit, you get a state-of-the-art motion control module with a brushless direct current motor (BLDC) directly into your project. The compact unit is based on the powerful STM32G431CBU6 microcontroller and is ideal for demanding applications such as robotics, automation, or visual demonstrations. Thanks to CAN and I2C communication, you can flexibly integrate it into your existing environment. The integrated FOC closed-loop controller ensures precise control of current, speed, and position. Additionally, a magnetic encoder is built in, providing exact feedback. The smart design with LEGO-compatible mounting holes and M3 screw fixtures makes installation easier. An OLED display on the back shows the status in real-time, and through slip-ring technology, the data connection remains even with 360° rotations. The RGB LED and the function button offer simple human-machine interaction. In short, this module is not only technically strong but also ingeniously designed.
Features:
- Integrated FOC closed-loop drive: Ensures precise control of current, speed, and position.
- Powerful BLDC motor: The installed 3504 200KV motor delivers high speeds and powerful torque.
- Intelligent feedback: The magnetic encoder ensures accurate position feedback.
- 360° rotatability with slip ring: Allows the transmission of data and power during full rotation.
- Integrated OLED display: Shows the operational status directly on the module.
- RGB status indicator: Color feedback for easy operation and error diagnostics.
- Open-source hardware and software: Makes individual further development and customization easier.
Application examples:
- Joint control in robotic arms
