M5Stack Pa.HUB 2 I2C Expansion Unit 1 to 6

Pa.HUB2 by M5Stack is an expander for the I2C GROVE PORTA (Red Port, used for I2C sensors and actuators). This expander for the PortA connects to the M5Stack or M5stick via the PortA (i2C GPIO22 and GPIO21). If you want to connect multiple I2C slave devices to your M5Stack and some of them may have the same address, you can solve the problem of I2C address conflicts with the Pa.HUB. The heart of the Pa.HUB unit is a PCA9548AP from TI. The PCA9548AP chip has eight bidirectional translation switches that can be controlled via the I2C bus. The SCL/SDA upstream pair fans out to the downstream pairs or channels. Any individual SCn/SDn channel or combination of channels can be selected, determined by the content of the programmable control register. Technically, this unit allows multi-layer nesting. For example, you can wire PaHUBs with the Root-PaHUB to get more places for your I2C slave devices. If you have seven of them, you can extend up to 36 I2C GROVE ports. 

The default I2C address of the Pa.Hub is 0x70 (The address is adjustable by re-soldering resistors).
