M5Stack Laser RX Unit

The LASER.RX Unit from M5stack is one of the communication devices among the M5Units and serves as a laser receiver. The unit works similarly to a fiber optic connection, except that the beam is transmitted through free space. While the transmitter and receiver have to have a line of sight, the advantage is that no transmission rights and cables are required. Laser communication systems can be easily deployed as they are inexpensive, small, power-efficient, and do not require investigations into radio interferences. Two parallel beams are needed, one for sending and one for receiving. That is why you also need the LASER.TX Unit.
