The Dragino DDS20-LB is a LoRaWAN ultrasonic sensor for liquid level measurement, ideally suited for IoT solutions. The sensor is mounted directly underneath the container and measures the liquid level without contact, eliminating the need for an opening in the container. For installation, it’s important to position the sensor at the center of the bottom of the container and apply ultrasonic coupling paste between the sensor and the container. Thanks to ultrasonic technology, the sensor is highly accurate and suitable for measuring various liquids, even under extreme conditions. This robust sensor node, packaged in a weatherproof enclosure, is ideal for outdoor use and powered by an 8500mA Li/SOCl2 battery, ensuring long operational duration. The DDS20-LB is not only a simple sensor node but is specifically designed to facilitate the rapid implementation of industrial LoRa and IoT applications. The wireless part of the node is based on the SX1262, allowing data transmission over very long distances at low data rates. This ensures exceptionally long range, high interference resistance, and optimizes power consumption. Equipped with a powerful 48 MHz ARM microcontroller, 256KB Flash, and 64KB RAM, the DDS20-LB is prepared for all types of projects. The DDS20-LB has an integrated BLE module that allows convenient configuration of the sensor from your mobile phone. It also supports OTA updates via a private LoRa protocol, significantly simplifying maintenance. You can use the pre-installed software for your IoT projects or flexibly adapt the software to different requirements.

Each sensor is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server, and the sensor automatically establishes a connection upon power-up when network coverage is available.

• Solid wall containers made of materials like steel, iron, glass, ceramic, solid plastics, etc., are suitable.
• The shape of the container should be regular and the surface smooth.
• Container thickness:
• For pure metal material, the thickness should ideally be between 2-8 mm, preferably between 3-5 mm.
• For pure non-metallic material, the thickness should be under 10 mm.
• The liquid should be clean and without irregular deposits.
