The RAK7590 Field Tester Pad from RAKwireless is a professional measurement device for the validation and commissioning of LoRaWAN networks. Unlike pure uplink testers, the device measures both uplink and downlink behavior, allowing for a complete bi-directional analysis of the radio connection. On the 7-inch touchscreen with 1024 × 600 pixels, RSSI, SNR, packet loss, data rate, transmit power, ADR status, and time of last downlink response are evaluated directly on site. The platform is based on a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 and delivers sufficient power for on-device visualization with live graphs, heatmaps, and RSSI/SNR scatter plots. An integrated high-precision GNSS unit enables automatic geotagging of measurement points, and a 20,000 mAh battery provides over eleven hours of operation in the field.
