LJ12A3-4-Z NPN Inductive Proximity Switch 6-36 V DC
With this inductive distance sensor, you can detect metallic (electrically conductive) objects. The sensor is perfect as a limit switch for a CNC machine or a 3D printer. The sensor also has a practical LED where the state of the output is displayed.
In order to read the sensor with an Arduino, you need to bring the signal voltage to 5V with a voltage divider.
