Infrared Sensor TCRT5000 Proximity Switch Breakout Module
This infrared sensor is suitable for easily detecting whether something is in front of the sensor. Thus, you can implement a switch that you activate as soon as you are nearby with your hand or an object. Since the sensor outputs other analog values for black / white, you can also use it as a line tracking sensor in a robot. The sensor can be read analog or digital (switching value adjustable via potentiometer).
