HB100 Radar Sensor Module

This microwave radar sensor works on the Doppler principle and is suitable as a motion detector, for light controls, speed measurement or automatic doors. Note: this module is not manufactured by ST Electronics AgilSense. It is similar but not identical to the AgilSense HB100 sensor. The AgilSense datasheet and application note serve only as a reference; there may be small differences.

Features:

• Detects motion and speed but does not measure distance
• The signal at the IF output is very weak; a preamplifier is required for evaluation with a microcontroller
• The frequency at the output corresponds to the Doppler shift; retailers state around 19.49 Hz per km/h
