Geophone SM-24

A Geophone works by converting the ground vibrations from earthquakes into a voltage. The generated voltage can then be read and evaluated by a microcontroller. The Geophone element SM-24 is a super-low-frequency microphone for the ground and has a bandwidth of 10 to 240Hz. Perfect for all your seismic 2D and 3D exploration requirements with a bandwidth of 10Hz to 240Hz. If you want to operate the Geophone directly on an Arduino, an amplifier circuit is recommended (see documentation and download).
