The Beaverlab M1C is the microscope tube of the DDL-M1 system and is suitable as a standalone digital handheld microscope. With its compact housing measuring only 121×32×34 mm and weighing about 170 g, it is easy to transport and provides magnifications of up to 400×. The tube itself weighs only around 100 g and is particularly handy for mobile use with a height of about 12 cm. The device features a 1-MP CMOS sensor and transfers images via WiFi to the free Beaver Point app for iOS and Android; the app allows photos and videos to be taken and observations to be documented. The built-in 700 mAh lithium battery enables mobile use without a tripod; it is charged via a USB-C port.
