Fermion MCP3424 18-Bit 4-Channel ADC
This is an ADC (Audio-Digital-Converter) with programmable gain amplifier. The built-in MCP3424 is an 18-bit delta-sigma analog to digital converter. The user can set the PGA gain before the conversion. This allows the module to convert weak input signals with high resolution. The ADC can be operated with 2.7 to 5.5V making it very interesting to drive with a Raspberry Pi or 3.3V microcontroller.
The ADC MCP3424 has two modes:
- One-Shot Mode: The module performs a single conversion and automatically switches to standby mode until it receives another conversion command.
- Continuous Mode: The conversion takes place continuously at the set speed.
Features:
- 18-Bit
- 4-Channel
- Programmable PGA Gain
- Two modes for energy-saving use
- Four different I2C addresses easily changeable via slider switch
