ePA12 Nylon Black Filament 1.75mm 1Kg eSun

The ePA12 filament, which is based on nylon, by eSun has excellent mechanical properties. With a high impact resistance, tensile strength, temperature resistance, and very low moisture absorption, the ePA12 filament is particularly suited for the printing of precise mechanical parts such as gears. Before printing, the nylon filament should be dried. The manufacturer recommends 12 hours at 70°C. To do this, we recommend using the eBOX by eSun. To guarantee optimal adhesion, a bed temperature of 70°C-90°C is recommended. In addition, we recommend using an adhesive such as our 3DLac.

Info: eSun recommends a printing temperature of 260°C-290°C. Most conventional printers manage just about 260°C. It's recommended to use a printer and hot end that can withstand up to 300°C such as the Ender-3 S1 Pro. Printing with nylon filaments is not for beginners; we recommend gaining some experience with simpler filaments like PLA first.
