DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver Module

The DRV8825 is a driver module for stepper motors with microsteps down to 1/32. Without additional cooling it handles about 1.5 A per coil, with heat sink and fan up to 2.2 A. It is suitable for RAMPS 1.4 boards in 3D printers and for other projects with stepper motors. The pinout is almost the same as on the A4988, the current setting differs.

Important: Never connect or disconnect the motor while the supply is switched on, this can destroy the driver. An electrolytic capacitor of at least 47 µF with a suitable voltage rating belongs between VMOT and GND, close to the module.
