Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V4 SX1262 868MHz with OLED

The Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V4.3.1 is a powerful IoT development board combining an ESP32-S3R2 microcontroller with the LoRa transceiver SX1262. The board supports frequency bands of 863–928 MHz, making it suitable for European 868 MHz operation as well as 915 MHz applications. In addition to LoRa communication, it features Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth LE 5, and Bluetooth Mesh. An integrated OLED display allows for direct visualization of status information and measurement data on the board. The LoRa transmission power reaches up to 28±1 dBm in the high-power version, enabling long-range wireless communication. The board includes a PC enclosure that protects the display and features an integrated 2.4 GHz FPC antenna. It also offers a 1.25-mm 2-pin solar connector for solar panels with 4.7–6 V input and a 1.25-mm 8-pin GNSS connector with individually controllable power supply. The power consumption in deep sleep mode is below 20 µA, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. The form factor and pinout are largely compatible with the predecessor model WiFi LoRa 32 V3, with the pin plating upgraded from silver to gold. Development is supported via Arduino, PlatformIO, ESP-IDF, and MicroPython. The board is compatible with Meshtastic, MeshCore, and LoRaWAN and is suitable for a variety of open-source projects in long-range communication.
