Digital belt tension meter for 3D printers

The BIQU Belter is a high-precision digital measuring tool for accurately determining the belt tension on 3D printers. The device is specially designed for CoreXY printers like Voron and VzBot, where even belt tension is crucial for print quality. Unlike traditional methods using smartphone apps and acoustic frequency measurement, the Belter provides direct, reproducible readings on an easy-to-read digital display. The housing is made of anodized and sandblasted aluminum alloy, whose lightweight does not impair measurement accuracy. The unit of measurement can be flexibly switched between millimeters and inches. The power supply is provided by a CR2032 button cell, which is already included. The measurement appears on the display within one second. For correct application, handle parts are required, which must be printed by the user. BIQU provides the appropriate STL files on GitHub. These PrintParts allow comfortable one-handed operation and are required for precise measurement results. In addition, a Calculation Tool is available as an Excel spreadsheet to directly convert the displayed values into the actual belt tension in Newton. The compact tool is universally applicable for all 3D printers with 2GT timing belts.
