DFRobot Embedded Thermal Printer TTL Serial

This is a compact thermal printer from DFRobot. The advantage of the thermal printer is that it does not need to be refilled with toner or ink, but can continuously print. The printer is controlled via a Mini-USB port or a RS232/TTL Serial interface, and it is powered via a PH 2.0 connection with 5V-9V. The printer comes with a 58mm paper roll and is perfect for printing receipts, QR codes or measurement data. Coupled with an Arduino or Raspberry Pi, a Gravity Expansion Board and sensors, you can build compact, integrated systems, such as measurement systems that periodically print their data or a DIY receipt printer. 

Info: The higher the voltage from 5V-9V, the clearer the print. The normal operating current is about 0.8A-1.5A. If the printer is used in particularly cold environments, the printer can draw up to 2A. The USB interface supports Windows, but a driver must be installed first.
