- Avoiding misuse: Disconnect the energy storage device before adjusting VCF[2]-VCF[0].
- Using a capacitor: Use a new 0.22F capacitor for initial testing.

- Leave all jumper caps in the default position.
- Place the capacitor on the board.
- Connect the photovoltaic panel and ensure it is exposed to light.
