The Dragino DDS20-LB is a LoRaWAN ultrasonic sensor for liquid level measurement, making it ideal for IoT solutions. The sensor is attached directly under the container and measures the liquid level without contact, so no opening in the container is necessary. For installation, it is important to position the sensor at the bottom of the container in the middle and apply an ultrasonic coupling paste between sensor and container. Thanks to the ultrasonic technology, the sensor is particularly accurate and is suitable for measuring various liquids, even under extreme conditions. This robust sensor node, packed in a weatherproof housing, is ideal for outdoor use and is powered by a 8500mA Li/SOCl2 battery, ensuring a long operating time. The DDS20-LB not only serves as a simple sensor node, but has been specifically designed to facilitate the rapid implementation of industrial LoRa and IoT applications. The wireless part of the node is based on the SX1262, enabling the transmission of data over very long distances at low data rates. This ensures an exceptionally wide range, high interference resistance and optimizes power consumption. Equipped with a powerful 48 MHz ARM microcontroller, 256KB flash and 64KB RAM, the DDS20-LB is ready for all kinds of projects. The DDS20-LB has an integrated BLE module, which allows convenient configuration of the sensor from your mobile phone. It also supports OTA updates via a private LoRa protocol, greatly simplifying maintenance. You can use the pre-installed software for your IoT projects or flexibly adapt the software to different requirements.

Each sensor comes preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and the sensor automatically connects after being switched on, if network coverage is available.

• Solid wall containers made of materials such as steel, iron, glass, ceramic, solid plastics etc. are suitable.
• The shape of the container should be regular and the surface smooth.
• Container thickness:
• For pure metal material, the thickness should ideally be between 2-8 mm, preferably between 3-5 mm.
• For pure non-metallic material, the thickness should be under 10 mm.
• The liquid should be pure and without irregular deposits.
