Creality Multi-Kilo Filament Holder

The Creality Multi-Kilo Filament Holder is a universal metal spool holder for 3D printers. The holder is designed to accommodate all common filament spools with a weight of 500 g, 1 kg, 3 kg, or 5 kg, thus supporting large filament rolls that do not fit directly onto the standard holder of a 3D printer. The frame is a one-piece cast construction made of sheet steel, which provides high rigidity with comparatively low weight. The spool is rotated using ball bearings, allowing the spool to move without kinking and with low rotational resistance. This reduces the load on the extruder, prevents filament tangling, and ensures smooth material feed. The base plate is equipped with non-slip silicone pads and can be adjusted so that the holder stands securely even on slightly uneven surfaces. The setup is external next to the 3D printer, which is particularly useful for abrasive or soft materials like TPU or filaments with carbon content, as it relieves the printer. Due to its simple construction, the holder can be assembled without tools in a few minutes. It is compatible with all FDM 3D printers, including the Creality K1 and K2 series, the Ender series from Ender 3 V2, and the CR-30. The external dimensions are approximately 220 × 210 × 280 mm, providing enough space for the largest common filament spools. If the storage is very good, the rotational resistance may be too low; in this case, an additional friction clip can be used to prevent the spool from rotating further.
