16mm Pressure Button with RGB Lighting 5V - Stainless Steel

This 16mm momentary button has an illuminated RGB LED ring, which can be controlled in different colors via an Arduino or other microcontroller. On the back there are two gold contacts for the button and four silver ones, which are used for the cathode and three times for the anode of the red, green and blue LED. The illuminated RGB button already has the resistors inside. Therefore, you can directly connect the LED lighting without additional resistor to your microcontroller. The resistors for the lighting are designed for 5V, but you can also operate them at 3.3V. If you want to use a higher voltage, for example 12VDC or 24VDC, you simply have to add a 1kOhm resistor in series to the LED cathode to keep the LED current at about 20mA.

You can best control the LED via three PWM outputs on the microcontroller, so you can control your button with any colors.
