The BIGTREETECH Panda Touch is a 5-inch touchscreen for controlling Bambu Lab 3D printers, specifically aimed at users of P1P and P1S models who want direct operation on the device. The display expands the control options, which are standardly only available via computer or smartphone on these printers. Usage requires a downgrade to defined older firmware versions, which can be carried out via the Bambu Handy App. After successful downgrade, all central printing functions are available directly on the display. These include loading and unloading filament as well as selecting material type and color. The system supports the simultaneous management of up to ten Bambu Lab printers via a single display. This is particularly beneficial for print farms or multi-printer setups. Communication is wireless via 2.4 GHz WiFi. Thanks to the integrated lithium battery, the display can also be used in mobile operation. The magnetic charging dock allows firm mounting on the printer and quick removal. The built-in IPS display offers high readability from various viewing angles. Operation is smooth via the integrated ESP32-S3 dual-core processor. The Panda Touch is a comfortable retrofit solution for supported Bambu Lab printers.

Note: Compatibility is limited to defined Bambu Lab firmware versions. A firmware downgrade may be necessary.
