The Dragino BLG-AN-040-R-868 is a weatherproof fiberglass outdoor mounting antenna for LoRa applications in the 868 MHz frequency band. It is specifically designed for use with LoRa gateways, Meshtastic nodes, and IoT devices where a reliable range improvement over conventional stub antennas is required. Thanks to the omnidirectional radiation pattern with 360° beamwidth, the antenna receives and transmits uniformly in all directions, making it ideal for central nodes in mesh networks. With an average antenna gain of 3 dBi, it offers significantly better signal strength than most included standard antennas, thereby greatly extending the effective communication range in the Meshtastic network.
