Polymaker HT-PLA-GF Power Tool Red Filament 1.75mm 1Kg

Polymaker HT-PLA-GF is a glass fiber reinforced high-temperature filament that combines the easy printability of PLA with the high stability of technical compounds. Thanks to the glass fiber content, it offers exceptional stiffness, low shrinkage, and high dimensional stability. Components remain dimensionally stable up to 130°C after annealing, making them suitable for applications that are subject to significant mechanical and thermal stress. Despite the reinforcement, the material can be reliably printed and achieves print speeds of up to 350 mm/s. Particularly interesting is the good paintability, as known from PLA: surfaces can be easily primed, painted, or colored, making the filament ideal for model making, cosplay, tabletop, or custom vehicle parts. HT-PLA-GF opens possibilities that are otherwise only achievable with technical materials like ABS or ASA, but without their drawbacks such as limited color options, complex processing, or higher printing requirements. Due to the glass fiber reinforcement, the material is abrasive on nozzles, so the use of a hardened nozzle is explicitly recommended. During processing, there is a low odor development, stronger than PLA, but significantly more pleasant than ASA or ABS.

Recommended Printing Parameters:

• Printing temperature: 210–230 °C, recommended 230 °C
• Heated bed: 25–60 °C, recommended 50 °C

Annealing: Place the finished part on a flat, heat-resistant surface and temper for about 30 minutes at 100 °C in the oven. Then let it cool slowly in the oven to avoid warping.
