12-24V to 12V 12A DC-DC Buck Converter Step Down

The DC-DC Step Down Buck Converter is a highly efficient voltage converter that reliably reduces input voltages from 15 to 24 V to a stable 12 V while providing output currents of up to 12 A. With a conversion efficiency of over 95 percent at 24 V input voltage and a load of 1 to 12 A, energy losses are minimized, making the converter particularly efficient and reliable. Thanks to the very low output ripple of less than 50 mV, the module is ideal for current-sensitive electronics. Integrated protection mechanisms such as over-temperature protection up to 125°C and short-circuit protection at the output reliably protect both the voltage converter and connected consumers from damage. An integrated thermal pad allows for improved heat dissipation on larger copper surfaces when soldered, especially during high continuous loads. The module features three control pins for flexible system integration. The EN pin allows targeted enabling or disabling of the output, AGND serves as a ground connection for microcontroller applications, and the PGOOD pin indicates the status of the output voltage in normal or faulty operation. The quiescent current is below 3 mA with the output enabled and drops to below 3 µA with the output disabled. Due to its compact design, the voltage converter is ideal for applications in robotics, drones, LED lighting, and automotive electronics.
