0.4mm MK8 Micro Swiss M2 Hardened Steel Nozzle Coated
This MK8 nozzle by Micro Swiss is made of M2 (1.3343) steel and has been electroless nickel and WS2 coated. WS2 is a coating of tungsten sulphide that provides excellent friction properties. WS2 reduces the coefficient of friction compared to traditional PVD coatings by a factor of 10. The M2 steel utilized has been hardened to a 68 HRC and annealed. The nozzle enables you to print at extremely high pressure temperatures up to 450°C without losing hardness. The nickel coating has a hardness of 70-73 HRC, allowing you to print with highly abrasive materials such as ePAHT-CF Nylon-Carbon, Wood, or Luminous Glow in the Dark filaments.
