SilentStepStick TMC2209 V2 not soldered

The SilentStepStick TMC2209 V2 not soldered by Watterott is a stepper motor driver based on the Trinamic TMC2209. With this new SilentStepStick driver, the noise level when driving with stepper motors is greatly reduced. The TMC2209 stepper motor driver is designed for up to 1.7A (RMS) continuous current and 2.8A peak. In order to drive these performances, you must additionally install a heat sink. This is not included in the delivery. The drivers also support micro stepping (interpolation of up to 256 microsteps) with which you can drive very fine and low vibration movements. 

The driver is suitable for the RAMPS 1.4 board or the Arduino CNC Shield where they are used in 3D printers and small CNC mills. However, you can also use it for other mechanical Arduino projects where you want to control stepper motors.
