LJ12A3-4-Z NPN Inductive Proximity Switch 6-36 V DC

This inductive proximity switch LJ12A3-4-Z/BX detects metallic, electrically conductive objects without contact at a distance of up to 4 mm. It is suitable as a limit switch for CNC machines and 3D printers, and an LED shows the state of the output.

Important: The sensor needs at least 6 V and therefore does not run on the 5 V of an Arduino. To connect it to an Arduino, the signal voltage is brought to 5 V with a voltage divider or the signal is routed through an optocoupler.
