This 1x4 Matrix Keypad is perfect for smaller Arduino projects. You can also use it on a Raspberry Pi or other controllers. The keypad is very thin and can be easily stuck on for mounting. For control, there are already libraries that you can find in the Arduino Library Manager if you search for Keypad.
