Air Filter System V1 for 3D Printers

The air filtration system V1 is a compact air purification solution for 3D printers, effectively removing harmful particles and fumes during the printing process. A three-stage filtration system consisting of a pre-filter, H13-HEPA filter, and activated carbon filter captures both coarse dust particles as well as ultrafine particles and volatile organic compounds (VOC). An energy-efficient centrifugal fan ensures a consistent airflow of about 34 m³/h through all filtration stages, without affecting printing performance. The system is powered by an external power supply supporting voltages between 9 and 24 V DC, allowing flexible speed control. The included power supply enables direct connection to 230 V AC. The housing is made of robust ABS plastic and measures 200 x 124 x 120 mm, making it easy to integrate beside or inside 3D printer enclosures. The filter connection is specially designed for the Bambu Lab P1S but can be easily adapted to other printer models with a custom-made adapter plate. The noise level is between 48 and 57 dB, enabling quiet continuous operation. A filter set is already pre-installed, with an additional set provided separately and can be changed as needed. This system significantly improves air quality during 3D printing, making the environment less odorous and safer while simultaneously increasing the lifespan of printing components.
