Temperature Sensor DS18B20 for Arduino and Raspberry
This DS18B20 sensor chip features 1-Wire communication. The DS18B20 is a digital temperature sensor in a TO92 package. The sensor is very accurate and reliable as it was factory calibrated. For interfacing with an Arduino, you can use the "DallasTemperature" library. Reading the DS18B20 requires only one input from your Arduino. Multiple sensors can also be connected to one input. For operating the sensor, you need a 4.7kOhm resistor, which you connect between VCC and Data (if you, for instance, have 5 sensors on the same input, you only need one resistor).
If you have questions or problems with the interfacing, or suggestions about the product description, just write us an email or use the review function. We are happy to assist.
