Polymaker HT-PLA-GF Power Tool Yellow Filament 1.75mm 1Kg

Polymaker HT-PLA-GF is a glass fiber reinforced high-temperature filament that combines the easy printability of PLA with the high stability of engineering compounds. Thanks to the glass fiber content, it offers exceptional rigidity, low shrinkage, and high dimensional stability. Components remain dimensionally stable up to 130°C after annealing, making them suitable for applications that are mechanically and thermally demanding. Despite the reinforcement, the material is reliably printable and achieves print speeds of up to 350 mm/s. Particularly noteworthy is the good paintability as expected from PLA: surfaces can be easily primed, painted, or decorated, making the filament ideal for model making as well as for cosplay, tabletop, or custom vehicle parts. This opens up possibilities with HT-PLA-GF that would otherwise only be achievable with technical materials like ABS or ASA – but without their drawbacks such as limited color selection, complex processing, or higher printing requirements. Due to the glass fiber reinforcement, the material is abrasive on nozzles, so the use of a hardened nozzle is highly recommended. During processing, there is a low odor development, stronger than PLA, but much more pleasant than ASA or ABS.

Recommended Printing Parameters:

  • Printing temperature: 210–230 °C, recommended 230 °C
  • Heated bed: 25–60 °C, recommended 50 °C
  • Fan: 100 %
  • Print speed: up to 350 mm/s

Annealing: Place the finished part on a flat, heat-resistant surface and temper in the oven at approximately 100 °C for 30 minutes. Then let it cool slowly in the oven to prevent warping.
