M5Stack CANBus Unit CA-IS3050G

The CAN Unit is an isolated Controller Area Network (CAN) transceiver that can be used to build a complex CAN communication network. The built-in isolated DC-DC power chip can isolate noise and interference and prevent damage to sensitive circuits. The CAN transceiver used is a CA-IS3050G, which offers differential reception and transmission capabilities. The bus can support up to 110 nodes and the signal transmission rate can reach up to 1Mbps. It has current limiting, overvoltage, ground fault protection (-40V to 40V) and thermal shutdown functions that can prevent output short circuits and meet the technical specifications of the ISO11898-2 standard. CAN is an international ISO standard protocol for serial communication. CAN belongs to the category of fieldbuses. It is a type of serial communication network that can effectively support distributed control or real-time control. CAN has some obvious advantages in the following aspects: High speed, low error rate, data communication between the nodes in the network. If several nodes initiate communication at the same time, the one with low priority avoids the one with high priority, leading to no overloading of the communication line. The communication distance can be up to 10km (the rate is lower than 5Kbps) and the rate can reach 1Mbps (communication distance is less than 40m).
