M5Paper V1.1 ESP32 Development Kit 960X540 4.7inch E-Ink Display

M5Paper CoreInk V1.1 is M5Stack's latest core with a touch-capable E-Ink display. Installed is an ESP32-D0WDQ6-V3 with a super large 540x960 4.7" E-Ink display. The E-Paper display supports up to 16 shades of gray which can present black-and-white images well. The display features a capacitive GT911 touchscreen that supports two-point touch and a variety of gesture controls. Compared to a normal LCD display, E-Ink displays are gentler on the eyes, making them a good choice for reading or viewing over a long period of time. Other advantages include low power consumption and the ability to maintain the image even when the display power supply is interrupted.   The M5Paper CoreInk has a multifunctional button for operation, SHT30 temperature and humidity sensor, physical buttons and a TF card (MicroSD) port for data storage integrated. In addition, the internal 2K-Bit(256x8)-EEPROM chip FM24C02 can be used to save important data even when the device is turned off. A 1150mAh Lipo battery keeps the device running for long periods of time and the battery life can be extended further by using the RTC (BM8563), which puts the device into sleep mode and wakes it up when needed. Three HY2.0-4P expansion ports are included, enabling the construction of complex projects using the existing sensors from M5Stack.

Do not expose the device to ultraviolet rays for extended periods of time as this may lead to irreversible damage to the display. The power management solution used by CoreInk differs from those of the CORE and StickC devices. In operation, the PWR button is used as the power button (press for 2s). If you want to shut down the CoreInk, you have to use the software API or press the reset button on the back. When using the USB power supply, the M5Paper cannot be shut down.
