LilyGo TTGO T-Beam ESP32 433MHz LoRaWAN with OLED Display NEO-M8N GPS Board

The LilyGo T-Beam is a versatile development board based on the ESP32 microcontroller, combining LoRa radio and GPS technology in a compact device. It features a LoRa transceiver for 433 MHz (Semtech SX1278), enabling wireless communication over very long distances with minimal power consumption. Additionally, a precise GNSS module (u-blox NEO-M8N) is integrated, which supports GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo, allowing accurate positioning. A 0.96″ OLED display is already built in to display coordinates, status messages, or messages directly. This combination of LoRa, GPS, and display makes the board ideal for IoT projects and tracking applications where data needs to be transmitted over long distances. Particularly in amateur radio, the T-Beam board opens up new possibilities: It can be used for LoRaAPRS (Long Range Automatic Packet Reporting System). This allows position data and telemetry to be transmitted over LoRa as APRS signals without relying on cellular networks or the internet. Thanks to the ESP32 with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, local network connections or pairing with smartphones and sensors are also possible. For mobile operation, the T-Beam has a 18650 Li-Ion battery holder with charging and protection circuitry (battery not included). As an ESP32 board, the T-Beam can be conveniently programmed with the Arduino IDE or PlatformIO, allowing custom applications to be implemented quickly.
