The R3D PETG-Silk Dark Red Filament combines the proven properties of PETG with an elegant silk-gloss effect. PETG-Silk offers excellent layer adhesion, high toughness, and an appealing surface finish with a silky sheen. This material is suitable for both functional components and decorative objects where a high-quality appearance is desired. With a diameter tolerance of ±0.02 mm for 1.75 mm, consistent extrusion is ensured. The filament is compatible with common print surfaces such as BuildTak, glass, Blue Tape, and PEI. It can be processed with copper and hardened steel nozzles in sizes 0.4 to 0.8 mm. Thanks to AMS compatibility, the filament can also be used in automated material change systems. The spool is sealed and packaged with silica gel to minimize moisture absorption. The manufacturer recommends storing it in a cool, dry environment at 15 to 25 °C without UV exposure.
