This filament is suitable for use in common FDM 3D printers and produces printed objects with a glossy, silky-shimmering surface. PETG-Silk offers excellent layer adhesion and solid mechanical strength, making it suitable for both functional and decorative prints. The material features a low moisture absorption of only 0.4%, making it relatively resistant to environmental humidity. The spool is sealed and packaged with silica gel to protect the filament from moisture. The filament is compatible with AMS systems and can be used with nozzle sizes ranging from 0.4 to 0.8 mm. It is suitable for both copper and hardened steel nozzles. For optimal storage, the manufacturer recommends a cool, dry environment at 15 to 25 °C and protected from UV light. With a diameter of 1.75 mm and a tight tolerance of ±0.02 mm, a uniform material feed is ensured.
