Gravity Geiger Counter Measurement Device for Ionized Radiation

This is a Geiger counter module by DFRobot. The unit includes a Geiger-Müller tube type M4011, which can measure alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. A Geiger-Müller tube detects when a pair of ions is created by incoming radiation, which is then expressed in CPM (Counts per Minute). Normal environmental radiation from the sun, natural uranium, radon, certain types of stones like granite, plants, and animals can range anywhere from about 5 to 60 or more CPM. A Geiger counter merely tracks the amount of ion pairs created per minute. The CPM can then be translated into µSv/h (Sieverts). It does not distinguish between types of radiation and energy. This is not a professional measuring device and should not be used as a guarantee of one's own safety. The module has a buzzer that acoustically represents the frequency of the CPM count. With a Gravity connector, the module can be connected to a 3.3V or 5V microcontroller like Arduino or ESP. 

Caution: The Geiger tube is operated with a voltage of up to 400 V. After activation, avoid touching the high-voltage circuit near the positive pole of the Geiger tube.
