The eABS-GF filament from eSun combines the proven properties of ABS with glass fiber reinforcement to provide increased stiffness and toughness. Thanks to the reinforcement with glass fibers, the material is particularly resistant to deformation and breakage. It is ideally suited for applications where high mechanical load capacity is required, such as tool or fixture manufacturing. The chemical resistance of the filament also ensures it stands up in demanding environments. With its matte surface and unique texture, the filament provides aesthetically pleasing printing results. Its high temperature resistance makes the material perfect for use in vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, campers, or even in shipbuilding. Parts that are exposed to high thermal loads, such as hooks, brackets, or fixtures, can be easily manufactured with eABS-GF since it maintains its stability even at high temperatures. Info: Due to the high glass fiber content, we recommend using nozzles with a diameter of at least 0.4 mm. Since glass fibers significantly accelerate the wear of brass nozzles, you should opt for stainless steel nozzles or nozzles with a hardened insert to ensure a longer lifetime.
