16mm raised push button with RGB lighting 5V - Stainless steel

This 16mm momentary button with raised push button features an illuminated RGB LED ring that can be conveniently controlled through an Arduino or any other microcontroller. On the backside, there are two gold contacts for the button, and four silver ones, used once for the cathode and three times for the anode of the red, green, and blue LEDs. The RGB button already has the necessary pre-resistors internally, allowing you to connect the LED lighting directly to your microcontroller without any additional pre-resistor. The resistors for the lighting system are designed for 5V, but you can also operate them at 3.3V. If you want to use a higher voltage, such as 12VDC or 24VDC, you just need to add a 1kOhm resistor in series to the LED cathode to maintain the LED current at around 20mA. You control the LED best through three PWM outputs on the microcontroller, so you can drive your button in any colors.
