BLTouch 3.1 automatic leveling sensor
This original BLTouch leveling sensor from Antclabs can be retrofitted to most 3D printers so you don't have to painstakingly level the print bed by hand. With the BLTouch, you can also compensate for unevenness of the print bed, and it is very reliable even with different print platforms. To operate the BLTouch on your printer, first check if there is a suitable instruction and if you can easily connect it to the control board of the printer. Most of the time, you will also need to flash a new firmware onto the 3D printer.
Cable Assignments BLTouch:
The BLTouch is connected to the control board of your 3D printer via four pins. The connecting wires have the following functions:
- Brown + Black: GND
- Red: 5V
- Orange: Control signal pin extend
- White: Trigger Pin is usually connected to the Z limit switch
