24GHz mmWave Radar Person Presence Sensor

The mmWave Sensor Module for detecting the stationary presence of people is a 24 GHz short-range sensor based on Infineon's mmWave FMCW industrial radar that recognizes human activities such as standing, moving and falling. Unlike conventional PIR sensors, the module continuously detects people and also operates when the accommodation is blocked. It features a self-learning algorithm that respects privacy and copes with various environments, and is very adaptable to the environment. The module has a powerful dual antenna and a detection range of up to 96m2, with very low output power to ensure the safety of the human body. It is suitable for individual applications such as smart homes, detection of human behavior, and fall detection.
